The reason your using broken knuckles is so you do as little damage as posible. By lv 45 each punch gives you 545 exp, giving you 50 to 60 k per tug. On low lv tugs, my guess is 1 or 2 lv per tug. So far this is the best way to farm exp, to my knowledge.
