Itsnot a patch on my aftermarket system that ive got fitted into my w202 now , but for a factory install its really good. Woody , the system you would have had in the lexus would have been a Mark Levinson system which is similar to the HK as its part of the Harman group as is harman kardon and JBL etc.

The major differences between the HK and Standard system are not that great. -The HK system gets 6x9" subs in the back deck powered by a separate amplifier. -The amplifier for the interior speakers get about 5 watts per channel output than the standard amp.
