Re: Where is the convenience control module located? its the number seven.it is in your trunk on the passenger side. take up the carpet in that corner and you will see the wires going to itit will be inside a greenish foam "package" there are three plugs and two air lines. 03-28-2007 11:19 PM #10.
Not enough power supply or voltage is being directed to the module. Too much voltage is being directed to the module. Disintegrated connections between modules. Failing sensors. Especially high engine temperatures. Exposure to water or too much moisture. Extreme engine conditions such as intense vibration.
Glow plug control module (651) The part number is: 4L0 907 282 A I looked around and it seems this part is not readily avaliable, so I called Bosch who advised me that they hold the patent on this part and only supply it to Audi, so you'll need to order it through your local main dealership. Im in the UK and was quoted £97.43 for a replacement.
Now that I found the spot under the dash for the circuit board. The only mystery left is that blue wire now. It is part of the glowplug harness, but not sure what. I've got the schematic for the circuit, and the only light blue wire listed is the negative control for the glow plug solenoid.
