Yes, your wider feet will do better than mine in the Speedgoat 5. The benefit to that mesh is the high amount of comfort in the upper. And it isn’t as stretchy as the NB 1080v12 for example. I do think this feels a bit loose on the upper for my liking, however, not to the point that Im feeling the sides of the midsole.
