R7 + RF-S 18-150mm f/3.5-6.3 kit; R7, and use half of the saved $ to pick up a used RF 24-105mm f/4-7.1; I do not own any RF lenses or good EF lenses, and just need an entry-level all-round lens to start with (probably getting RF 100-400 and RF 600 in the future).

The RF 24-105mm f/4L is a little sharper in the corners wide-open at 24mm, but not enough to notice. At the time of writing, Canon has only made two native lenses for the EOS R10 and its EOS R7 sibling: the RF-S 18-45mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM and RF-S 18-150mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM zoom.Matching the diminutive dimensions of Canon crop sensor bodies such as the new R100, the new Canon RF-S 55-210mm f/5-7.1 IS STM lens is also incredibly light and compact.
Hello Paul, Yes, it is normal for this lens. Canon RF 24-105mm f/4 USM L IS - Review / Test Report (opticallimits.com) Gary. Thanks Gary , disappointed by this lens then as the vignetting is very dark & severe - I expected better from Canon . Never had this degree of issue with ef or efs lenses . Cheers Paul.
